Story from the field, Avishai Green, a One Heart volunteer in Beersheba: "We arrived at a foster family with three children, aged 4, 8 and 9. ‘We haven't left the house since the start of the war, because it's hard to take care of everyone during an alert’, we were told by the mother. I went out to play ball with the 9-year-old in a yard outside the house. It's definitely difficult to see a child stuck at home without being able to go out because there's no one responsible to make sure everything is okay and calm them down in case of an alert. While I was playing with him, Anat, one of the volunteers, kept the younger kids busy with drawings and other activities."
